Dear Parents,

Greetings from the Police Athletic League of Cape Cod," PAL."

We have started a local chapter of the Police Athletic/Activities League on Cape Cod. PAL provides the administration for the development of good, solid, recognizable programs for kids. The PAL is predicated on guiding youngsters and providing them with realistic hope and opportunities far beyond their wildest dreams. PAL is a police based program that brings the police, community and the kids together either in sports or activity oriented programs and sets permanent relationships that will always be instilled in the minds of both the children and the adults.

The PAL program works in conjunction with other community programs to offer more opportunities to the youth of Cape Cod and not compete with the existing ones. PAL will provide athletic, recreational and various activities recognized by the National PAL.

Members will fill out the application and pay a one-time league fee of $10.00 to join and if that poses a problem, financial assistance will be given. Members will be asked to select some activities that they would like to participate in. If you and your child are unable to attend the sign-up please fill out the enclosed application and send it along with the one time fee to the address listed on this letter (The Police Athletic League of Cape Cod, P.O. Box 751, Falmouth, MA 02541). There will be several special trips and activities throughout the year that will be available for the members. All members will receive a membership card.

Applications are available on this site, in the lobby of the Falmouth Police Department and at the PAL Center located at 279 Brick Kiln Road, East Falmouth.
